I highly recommend taking the tour! It's one of the most fascinating experiences we've had. The guides are dressed in period clothing and use authentic dialects, making the history come alive. The tour covers the museum, a brief video, and a guided walk through the Cobb House and gardens. It exceeded all of our expectations!

What a gem of a place! The modern museum is impressive, but the real attraction is stepping back to 1791 and learning about the Cobb family, Governor Blount, and the incredible experiences of the Overmountain Men. The gardens were stunning, and I even spotted the friendly site cat!
